Our Donna Carmè is a lemon liqueur born from an ancient recipe by Donna Carmela Amato, originally from Amalfi, who prepared it to give refreshment to the farmers of the island of Ischia. With an enveloping and disturbing scent, our liqueur retains all the fragrance of the fresh scents of freshly picked lemons. It is soft and aromatic on the palate, with a pleasantly persistent taste. The secret? We leave the rinds to macerate in the alcohol so that they can release all the aromas, where the abundant presence of essential oils released, give the liqueur body and taste. The liqueur is then diluted with water and sugar, without adding artificial flavors or chemical preservatives. Each liter of Donna Carmè corresponds to the use of at least half a kilo of lemons. With an intense yellow color and a slightly veiled appearance due to the purifying and refreshing properties of the lemon peel. ADVICE: Donna Carmè is perfect to be enjoyed at the end of a meal, served cold or frozen, depending on your preferences.
